Synodality: A New Way of Living as a Church
On Sunday, Pope Francis opened the two-year process for the 16th Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops with a Mass in St. Peter’s Basilica. The diocesan phase of the Synod is set to begin this Sunday, October 17. In his homily, he asked, “Are we prepared for the adventure of this journey? Or are we fearful of the unknown, preferring to take refuge in the usual excuses: ‘It’s useless’ or ‘We’ve always done it this way’?”

St JOSEPH'S PRIMARY SCHOOL
GLEN INNES NSW 2370
St Joseph’s School is a co-educational Catholic Primary School. St Joseph’s School in Glen Innes was founded by the Sisters of St Joseph of the Sacred Heart to provide quality Catholic Primary for boys and girls. The school is an integral part of the Glen Innes Parish Community and shares it’s task of imparting Catholic traditions while respecting and appreciating the traditions of other Christians.
The parents’ role as primary educators of their children is acknowledged by the school which looks to them, along with the parish priest, principal and leadership team, staff and students to form the Christian community of the school.
We value the uniqueness of each member of the school community. We support each other in providing knowledge, skills and attitudes which contribute to the total education and development of the student.
In our relationships we respect and affirm one another and live according to Gospel values. Truth, compassion and forgiveness characterise our mission to bring about a more just society.
